The Monarch IOP is designed not only to support recovery from substance use but also to empower individuals to explore their identities, confront challenges unique to the LGBTQ+ experience, and thrive within a supportive community. Sessions utilize materials from the Matrix Model offered through the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation.
Incorporation of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to address emotional regulation and thought patterns.

Comprehensive Intensive Outpatient Program in Sacramento
In addition to our comprehensive program, we are proud to host
“The Thirsty Caterpillar,” a dedicated LGBTQIA+
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting every Sunday night at our outpatient office.
This meeting provides a safe and supportive space for individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community to connect and support one another in their recovery journeys.
