We are a network of upscale sober living homes, driven by a team of dedicated and experienced professionals committed to delivering the very best supportive recovery services to our residents. Our approach combines managed after-care services with Monarch’s established Standards and Structure model of sober living, tailored to the specific needs of each individual.
Monarch is a home away from home specifically designed to help transition your recovery in the most comfortable and attentive way possible.
Our sober living environments start with our attention to detail from where the homes are located to how they are set up, each designed with the interests of the residents’ comfort and care in mind.
Responsibilities include attending and participating in house meetings, weekly house chores, outside recovery-based program attendance, adhering to random drug and alcohol screening, maintaining curfew, and being supportive within the group.
In addition, Monarch’s ‘Structure and Standards’ are well-designed guidelines to assist our residents with successful group living. The emphasis is on accountability through personal responsibility first to oneself and then to the group.
Combatting Boredom and Isolation
Post-treatment life can be isolating for those recovering from substance abuse, particularly if their previous social circles are detrimental to their recovery journey. Isolation and idleness are potential risks for relapse in early recovery stages. Hence, integrating into a supportive community that understands these challenges is critical. Monarch Homes encourages active engagement, ensuring residents are not just free from negative influences but are also positively stimulated.
Supported Transition to Normalcy
Overcoming addiction and maintaining sobriety post-treatment is undeniably challenging. Many who have achieved it often recount a journey marked by trials and setbacks. Monarch Homes offer a crucial transitional stage, bridging the gap between the structured environment of a rehab facility and the complexities of everyday life. This step is particularly vital for those who find managing sobriety independently daunting. Opting for a well-established and credible recovery home like Monarch Homes can be a strategic move in sustaining sobriety.
Structured Guidance and Constructive Living
Monarch Homes prioritize the enforcement of clear, beneficial rules. Governed by passionate and trained professionals, these homes balance the need for discipline with a more relaxed atmosphere compared to a treatment center. Residents engage in recovery programs, therapy, or IOPs (Intensive Outpatient Programs), and participate in home maintenance. This approach instills a sense of ownership and responsibility, contributing to a nurturing environment conducive to recovery.
Consistent Recovery Support Network
At Monarch Homes, the community comprises individuals in recovery and substance abuse treatment professionals. This ensures that residents are constantly surrounded by a support network attuned to their needs. Access to these resources is a pivotal aspect of the sober living experience, aiding residents in smoothly transitioning from treatment to a recovery-focused lifestyle.
Sobriety allows the body to heal from the damage caused by substance abuse. This includes improved organ function, better sleep, and increased energy levels.
We all have the ability to change within ourselves. Some of us just need that extra push. Monarch Homes provides the structure, accountability and the dignity of independent living each of us needs to transform into the person we aspire to be.
Our group living homes bring what many desire most: sober community, guidance, peer-to peer mentoring, and friendship. Our Homes are modeled to promote a supportive ‘family’ and foster healthy relationships as you navigate your recovery. Community and teamwork are at the core of each Monarch Home and we work together to successfully keep residents involved and engaged.
Our Homes also allow you the freedom to do what you need while living with us including work, school, or volunteering. We encourage each person to be as productive as possible while also working a structured program toward recovery. At Monarch we recognize that recovery is hard work and we want to be there to help. We welcome you to join us and find out for yourself why our structured and supportive luxury residential recovery homes (SLE) provide the standard in modern comfort while nurturing the new beginnings of sobriety.
Monarch is a home away from home specifically designed to help transition your recovery in the most comfortable and attentive way possible.
In addition to personalized attention, we emphasize accountability. Monarch’s ‘Structure and Standards’ are well-designed guidelines to assist our residents with successful group living. These include; house meetings, weekly house chores, outside recovery-based program attendance, random drug + alcohol screening, medication management, maintained curfew, and general accountability to the group. Providing a time-tested set of standards helps create a much-needed structure for people who have been living without any boundaries or limitations.
Monarch aims to create community in our living environments filled with other like-minded, relatable, and supportive people with the same and addictive backgrounds, helping alleviate peer stressors and help the resident feel at ease. In doing so, this allows the resident to accept and recognize the short-term benefits in order for them to stick around long enough to enjoy the long-term gains seen in recovery.
Standards & Structure are key components to how Monarch Homes will help you move forward in your recovery.
Monarch Clean and Supportive Living Homes upholds a complete set of Structure and Standards that all residents must adhere to for the success of the group and individual. The integrity and success of the group is a responsibility that lies with all of us therefore we emphasize the family spirit and structure put in place. Community in our Homes is at the core of our model. Past success has proven that accountability as a team brings about the respect and dignity we all strive for in ourselves.
In addition to the Structure and Standards, each Monarch Home has a paid live-in House Manager responsible for the well-being, safety and maintenance of a clean and sober home for all residents, all the time. House Managers have an important role working with each resident in regards to their respective program of recovery, many times working with therapists and outpatient programs. Managers also engage daily in each resident’s day, perform random drug and alcohol testing, facilitate house meetings and maintain the overall serenity and flow of the home.

At Monarch Homes, we offer a unique shared room model compared to other SLEs limiting the number of residents in each home with most bedrooms designed as 2-person rooms on top of that, many homes also provide private rooms. By limiting the number of residents in each home, we provide approximately 40% more living space compared to other comparable Sober Living Environment (SLE) houses. This approach ensures residents enjoy increased privacy and a greater sense of personal space. Unlike other sober homes that maximize twin beds in bedrooms with 3, 4, or even 5 people, our focus on fewer residents per house significantly enhances the quality of living, promoting longer stays and increasing long-term success in recovery.

Residents at Monarch Homes sign a month-to-month service agreement, but it is recommended that they stay for a minimum of 90 days. Residents are encouraged to stay longer if they are making progress in their recovery, demonstrating a willingness to support new residents, and engaging in the community. Incoming residents must have a minimum of 72 hours of sobriety and the ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening. Monarch Homes does not function as a detox facility. Participants in the RPG receive comprehensive education about addiction, including understanding its nature, recognizing triggers, and learning to identify warning signs of relapse. They also gain insight into the potential consequences of relapse.
The RPG assists group members in identifying personal triggers, such as people, places, situations, emotions, or thoughts, that may lead to cravings or temptations to relapse.
The group encourages individuals to develop problem-solving skills that will enable them to address any challenges or issues they may encounter during their recovery journey.
Monarch Recovery Centers create a nurturing and non-judgmental environment within the RPG, allowing members to openly share their experiences, challenges, and successes. Mutual support and accountability among group members are essential aspects of the program.
Each participant in the RPG works on developing an individualized relapse prevention plan, outlining specific strategies and actions to implement should they find themselves in high-risk situations.
Role-playing exercises and skill practice sessions are integrated into the program to reinforce the application of relapse prevention techniques in real-life scenarios.
Monarch Recovery Centers emphasize the importance of continued participation in the RPG, even beyond the initial stages of recovery. Maintaining sobriety is recognized as a lifelong journey, and the group offers ongoing support.
